We love a reason to celebrate, especially in a new country.

But to us travelers, a party doesn’t have mean drinks and dancing (although that’s fun too 🥳), a celebration to us can be experiencing something deeply cultural and rare, being invited into sacred spaces, or just partying like the locals do.

We have found plenty of reason to celebrate next year in far-flung corners of the world, and you’re invited to join us! Be warned that these trips have very few departures and are all almost sold out.

From the era of Genghis Khan, eagle hunting was born and is now an annual competition in rural Western Mongolia. It attracts Kazakh nomads from all over the country, and the best part is, in 2023 a 13 year old girl won against 145 men! Next year, we are going to visit her and her family at home and announce ourselves as her biggest fans 😍.
