The Collective Release!

Introducing The SoFe Collective ✨

Handcrafted pieces from women around the world.

On SoFe Travel tours, we’ve sat cross-legged on floors watching women weave baskets so intricate they look like paintings, sculpt bowls out of wood older than any of us, and paint stories that have been passed down for generations.

I love supporting women around the world, I think where we spend our time, energy, and money has powerful impact. And I have always wondered - how can we lift up these women in a bigger way?

That’s how The SoFe Collective started.

It’s a small, scrappy dream built from the women I’ve met along the way. Every basket, bowl, and carving here was made by someone I’ve personally met. Someone whose craft is her livelihood, her pride, her even her freedom.

Every purchase is proof that when women support women, we all rise.

Note: 💡there is only one in stock of most items and they don’t repeat, so if you like something, don’t wait to snatch it up!

Not just a store, a long time dream come true.

I still remember the first time I walked into a fair trade store. I was sixteen, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The shelves were full of so many colors and textures: clay, jewelry, art, and little treasures I’d never seen before. I left thinking, someday, I want to create something like this, a shop that makes people happy while supporting those too often overlooked.

I don’t know where The SoFe Collective will go from here, whether it will grow beyond this debut Uganda collection depends on you. But I do know that sixteen-year-old me would be over the moon to see this dream come to life.
