Here’s the deal. Colombia is fantastic. We can vouch for it as a travel destination that ticks all the boxes - culture, landscapes, history, it’s got it all - and more. In fact, it’s the second-most biodiverse country in the world with territory covering the Amazon rainforest, highlands, volcanoes, Andean mountains, grasslands (called ‘Los Llanos’) and deserts - plus a coastline bordering the Caribbean sea + Pacific Ocean (beach-lovers, assemble!).

Besides basking in azure waters and whistling at toucans strutting on beachbar counters, our itinerary takes in as much of Colombia’s diversity as we can squeeze in over 10 days without leaving you needing another holiday from your holiday. We visit award-winning restaurants, go rum and coffee-tasting, and enrol in cooking classes. Balancing our healthy diet, we will explore the Cocora Valley with its soaring palms and emerald hills, as well as the colorful towns of Bogotá, Filandia, Trinidad and Cartagena.
