Hey team. It’s me.

As travel is kicking back up and our team is growing, I thought I would start some regular emails to keep everyone up to date on the cool projects the team is working on. These emails will be going out to our core team, some of our contractors, and our ambassadors. 💜 Amanda

SoFe Updates

Travel is back. 💥

I am overjoyed to say that we have been seeing a small, but definite uptick in bookings for 2022 travel! We saw a 29% increase in bookings in February compared to January and lots of reason to believe that March will start to fill some tours, especially in the fall, which seems to be the most popular time of year.

The Network is on fire. 🔥

With a major focus on events, The Network is growing in membership and getting much more active. We’ve had events about specific destinations, social hours, trivia, and many more to come. The goal: We want our community to become the place for solo female travelers and also a marketing machine that gives us direct access to our community without all the algorithm and extra junk of FB. The challenge: Circle is not a place, like FB or IG, where people already hang out. When they log in, they are there specifically to engage with us. The challenge is getting them inside again and again. The strategy: There needs to be something new and interesting to consume each and every time somone logs in. Keeping our content fresh and our community engaged in friendships and long term benefits will help us grow a thriving community we don’t have to work as hard to maintain. How you can help: Even if you aren’t working on this project, you can help by jumping in and chatting up our members! Feel free to attend or offer to host events and use it as your own travel and commuity tool. And, of course, all ideas are welcome. Shoot them over to Victoria.

Marketing gold: testimonials. 👑

We held our first Q&A with previous SoFe Traveler Bobby Casey. Listening to her talk about her experience on her two SoFe Tours, Egypt and Jordan, actually brought tears to my eyes. The friendship, the hope, adventure, and inclusion she talked about really got me excited for the rest of 2022. I suggest you take the time to listen in for a boost of SoFe love 💕! If you experienced a Meetup Tour and know the perfect woman to help us out with testimonials, please let Victoria know, so she can reach out. We use these for reviews on Trip Advisor, events in The Network, posts, and spaces on our website.

Website updates.

Megan has been hard at work on our website updating pages like the FAQ, terms and conditions, previous tours, and more. Check it out! And if you have any ideas, shoot her an email at [email protected]

Other stuff

What I’m reading.

A month or so ago, I was exploring some of the islands here in the PNW, and I stumbled into the coolest store. They are women owned and operated and everything inside has a feminist angle specifically for women’s pleasure (their words, not mine) - sensual stuff, soft fabrics, nice lotions, funny cards, and more. 💸 Take my money, please. I walked out with body lotion and 6 books, and I am on my third one -Pleasure Activism, a book about social justice and not settling for anything less than a fulfilling life. Here’s a link if anyone is interested in joining me in reading this book!

Peru & Ecuador

While it’s not set in stone yet, it looks like I will be the ambassador on our upcoming Peru and Ecuador Meetup Tours! I’m thinking of going early and taking Spanish classes in Lima. If you know of any good schools or cool accom, send them my way!

Daffy says hi.
