Throwback to Bali 2018
It’s been SIX years since our very first tour in Bali, so today’s email is going to be a little throwback to good old 2018.

It’s been making waves since ‘18 when the girl vibe in Bali was so high NINE (of seventeen) girls got TATTOOS of the symbol of our sisterhood.
No joke, no henna. The real deal kinda shpeal. Enough girls were stoked on the idea that we brought a tattoo artist to our villa, and he inked us in memories to last a lifetime. Okay, not everyone’s mom was mad, but we had a couple rolling their eyes. 😉

Exploring Bali with our first SoFe Travel group 😊
As cliché as it sounds, Bali was a life-altering trip The itinerary had a good balance of cultural, touristy, educational, and local experiences. The authentic local events that SoFe was able to organize for us to experience was really special. I even enjoyed the low-key activity options like waking up at dawn to visit the village farmer's market where I bought homemade desserts and palm sugar to take home. Another nice thing about this trip was there was a lot of free time built in and none of us felt pressured to attend any of the excursions if we didn't feel up to it. Beyond the amazing sites and experiences, the fast friends I made are the most treasured things of my Bali tour.

Our tours just got that much better when we brought Tini (tee-nee) onto the team. She’s a hilarious, brilliant, and kind local woman who’s been our Bali leader since way back when.

With experience comes feedback and over the years we refined and improved this trip to make it the life-altering experience it is today.
