Egypt + me = hate at first sight.

The first time I went to Egypt, I thought: never again.

My photos looked like a Nat Geo spread… But in reality, my “charming guesthouse” smelled like an ashtray, the door lock wobbled like a loose tooth, and a trip to the falafel stand meant dodging catcalls, sad stray dogs, and one very aggressive donkey.

👉But here’s the thing: too many people love Egypt. They came back raving about magic and mystery, while I came back with stories about food poisoning and creepy men.

So I decided to try again — either to write it off for good, or to figure out how to make it work for women like me.

On that second trip, I met the guide who’s now been with us for eight years, and everything clicked.

Suddenly Egypt was koshery (the best street food on the planet), secret falafel shops, local-only markets that felt like treasure hunts instead of stress nightmares, and a desert adventure with families cooking dishes you’ll never even see on a menu.

Egypt solo? Still not my jam.
Egypt with our insider team? Absolutely unforgettable.

And we’ve bottled all of that into one 12-day trip.

Of course, we see the pyramids and go to the new Egyptian Museum. This trip also includes the special corners of the country with the people who I have fallen in love with over the years…

Yes, we’re sleeping on a boat. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and a must-experience on the Nile.

Think candlelight, soft drums, and the best freaking food ever. I don’t want to spoil all of the surprise.

Village families, pottery, sand boarding, strong coffee, free-wheeling in the desert.

Dahab is special, let me tell you. Small, safe, and near some of the best snorkel and dive spots in the world.

A few pics from my phone…

This is Felucca: both the boat and the name of the dog.

No joke, I have this on my Hinge profile.

LOVE going on our group trips, and I am due to come back, so maybe we will travel together. 🤩

Feeling tiny and wishing I wore a cuter outfit that day.

👉 Ready to join us? This trip sells out fast.
